CHRIS LEGROW
The inspiration for these novels came from my early years as an officer. We still had Ol’ Blues that started with the Department in the 1960’s. You couldn’t out story them, and nothing fazed them. I tried to put some of their personalities into the characters of the book. I hope you enjoy reading about these Ol’ Blues as much as I enjoy telling their story.
Detective Chris LeGrow, badge number 1557, is a retired member of the Omaha Police Department’s Special Victims Unit. He investigated domestic violence cases that included everything from destruction of property to sexual assault and crimes against vulnerable adults. Formerly he worked for nine years as a Family Teacher at Boys Town. He and his wife, Kara, have nine children and a whole precinct of grandchildren.
